Senior Housing

 

Programming

Our Senior Housing Programming has been developed in tandem with Bright Path Program, GPS. Bright Path programming provides a variety of neurobehavioral programming that has been developed by our seasoned Clinical Team with over 30 years experience developing neurobehavioral program within a major university setting, as well as with a major behavioral hospital in the United States.

Our Clinical Programming is headed by Ed Handy with over 30 years of experience working within the neurobehavioral industry (memory care, addiction, pain and mental health).

The Bright Path Programs

Province offers the Bright Path Programs which are state-of-the art cognitive programs that utilizes Piaget’s Theory of cognitive development centering around the nature and development of human intelligence.

Through a series of stages, Piaget proposed four stages of cognitive development: the sensorimotor, preoperational, concrete operational and formal operational period. The sensorimotor stage is the first of the four stages in cognitive development which “extends from birth to the acquisition of language”.
